COACH T HOOPS Basketball Camp Directors:
Coach Kevin Templeton is one of the most respected Christian coaches in the southeast. With 44 years of coaching experience, he has demonstrated his ability to build a program from the ground up. He has 33 years of high school coaching experience and 11 years of college coaching experience. During his coaching tenure at Tennessee Temple University, the 2002-2003 TTU squad went 30-4 and won Temple’s seventh NCCAA title. Coach T has a reason for coaching above and beyond winning games, which is to influence kids to live for Christ.
Coach Josh Templeton returns as a headliner. A two-time NCCAA ALL-American, his point guard clinic is a highlight for all. He connects with young people and can teach the game in a way that helps each camper improve. His specialties are player development and helping to develop the offense. Josh has been a Point Guard College Director for 3 summers. He has been an Assistant Basketball Coach at both Tennessee Temple University and Lee University and Boys Basketball Coach at Boyd Buchannon HS. He has been involved with Coach T Camps since he graduated from HS.
Coach David Casteel has coached boys and girls basketball at several different local high schools, including Cleveland HS, Mt Juliet HS (Nashville TN) and Soddy Daisy High School. He also officiates basketball & football. He loves kids and loves teaching the game of basketball. He brings great organization to the camp as he schedules the games and teaches individual skills and drills. He has also been involved with Coach T Camps since HS.
